I am highly experienced Counsellor, with a wide range of skills developed in a number of therapeutic environments.
I have worked as an NHS Counsellor and in the charity and private practice sectors helping people experiencing common mental health issues such as depression, stress, bereavement and anxiety.
My method as your counsellor will be to listen and try to help you explore and make sense of your current feelings and behaviour, and then try to identify patterns of behaviours that may have their roots in your past experiences. Once these have been established I will work with you to make positive changes in your life.
I work Tuesdays and Wednesdays at Lifestuff

Olivia Mattick – Counsellor/Psychotherapist
Hi, I’m Olivia.
People often come to therapy when something feels stuck, overwhelming, or hard to name. I work with individuals who are facing a wide range of emotional struggles—whether it’s anxiety, self-doubt, difficult relationships, or feeling lost. I also have a particular interest and experience in supporting people who are neurodivergent, including those with ADHD, autism, and OCD. I understand that the world isn’t always built with neurodiversity in mind, and therapy can be a space to process those challenges in a way that feels safe and grounded.
I’ll support you in exploring how your past experiences may shape how you see yourself and relate to others today. My aim is to help you make sense of those patterns with curiosity and compassion—so you can move forward in a way that feels more authentic and free.
I work Mondays and Tuesdays at Lifestuff

Mark Williams – Counsellor
At times, we can all experience difficult thoughts and feelings or a sense of being “stuck”. I believe that we all possess the resources to work through our problems, but sometimes these can become hidden and feel out of reach.
I will work with you to help you identify what you need, to re-connect with your own resources and help you change and grow and look forward to the future.
I have experience of working both short and long term with a wide range of issues, and have undertaken extra training in working with trauma. I offer a safe, confidential and welcoming space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings. I will accept you non-judgementally as the unique individual that you are, and ensure that you feel you are heard and understood.
I work Mondays and Wednesdays at Lifestuff
If you have any questions or would like to book a session you can phone me on 07570 933361 or email me at mark@markwilliamscounselling.co.uk.
Tanya Joseph – Counsellor
I am an Adlerian counsellor who believes and practices with encouragement and kindness. I have a passion for supporting others to believe in themselves and the amazing goals they can achieve in life no matter how big or small. Sometimes life can throw us a curve ball and counselling can support us to get through those times and find new tools and skills to cope and grow to the best of our abilities.
I have experience working with several different issues including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and trauma. I have completed extra training in Trauma, mental health, and domestic violence and am currently an associate’s counsellor for the charity CHOICES, which provides one-to-one counselling for adult survivors of Childhood sexual abuse.
As an Adlerian counsellor, the foundations of my practice are seeing everyone as unique and individual. No one size fits all! I value our differences and we are all creative in our own way.
I am a spiritual person, and this has always been a part of me and my life. I also work as a Reiki and Chakra healing practitioner.

Andrea Bassett – Counsellor
Life can be incredibly tough at times. You may suffer from crippling anxiety or reoccurring depressive episodes or maybe you feel you just need to ‘fine-tune’ your life.
Working with me, you can start to gain clarity and awareness over the complexities of your current problems, while also understanding how your earlier life experiences have influenced where you are today.
Once we’ve untangled the patterns of the past and present, I can support and coach you in your journey toward gaining the life you truly want and need.
I trained “integratively,” which means I use a range of modalities, depending on the person and the presenting problems. I use coping strategies to help in the now and deeper work to get to the heart of the issues.
I work Wednesdays from Lifestuff.

Kathryn Buchanan – Counsellor
Many people keep going day to day while quietly carrying a weight inside. You might be juggling family life, work pressures or relationships, yet still feeling low in confidence, anxious, or simply worn down. Or perhaps you catch yourself wondering, “Is this it? Is this how life will always feel?” Counselling can be a space to pause, breathe, and begin to make sense of things.
I offer a calm, caring space where you can feel heard and understood. In the early stages, I focus on getting to know you and being a steady, supportive presence. As trust builds, I may gently reflect patterns or ways of being that I notice, giving you the chance to see yourself with fresh eyes. Sometimes that means gentle challenges, but always with care. Humour may also find its place, not forced but arising naturally in the moment, as we learn to let go of the things we don’t need to carry.
Over time, clients often notice that the small things no longer overwhelm them, that they feel steadier inside, and that they begin to trust their ability to handle life’s ups and downs. You do not have to face these questions on your own. Together, we can explore what matters to you and how different your life could feel.
I work both online and face-to-face. You can see me in person at Lifestuff on Mondays, or online at other times.
You can contact me on 07301902041 or by email at info@counsellingwithkathryn.co.uk
